My role as financial support in "Renewed Hope" is a recent one, but I have had many years of experience in the area of church financial matters.  My expertise comes from a background of post-secondary education, government regulations for churches and 40 plus years of church management and financial interaction between government and charitable organizations.  Here are some of the duties which I perform.
  • Prepare all cheques and deposits
  • Maintain a full double-entry accounting system
  • Record all aspects of charitable donations
  • Create monthly reports for National and District offices
  • Prepare financial reports and records for council
  • Complete year-end elements for Charities Canada as well as Revenue Canada
  • Design and maintain the church website
